Specificity
This antibody recognizes CD148 (Receptor-type tyrosine-protein phosphatase eta) which is a tyrosine phosphatase which dephosphorylates or contributes to the dephosphorylation of various targets. It plays a role in cell adhesion, migration, proliferation and differentiation as well as is involved in vascular development. CD148 acts also as a regulator of macrophage adhesion and spreading.

Application Notes
Strong binding of the antibody 33A1_81 to CD148 was validated using ELISA. This clone is recommended for the detection and analysis of human CD148 antigen. It can be utilized for the identification of this antigen via immunofluorescence.
