The original antibody was generated by immunizing BALB/c mice with rat glomeruli.
Application Notes
The original format of the antibody bound to the rat kidney (brush border microvilli of proximal convoluted tubules and glomerular capillary wall) and liver (bile canaliculi of hepatocytes and on the luminal surface of bile ducts) by indirect immunofluorescence microscopy (Mendrick et al., 1988; PMID： 2455092). This antibody was used to immunoprecipitate rat CD26 (Hong et al., 1989; PMID： 2565820).Immunofluorescence was performed on the glomerular capillary wall using this antibody (Mendrick et al., 1988; PMID： 2455093).
