Application Notes
Radioactive binding assay tests demonstrated the ability of the YBM/42.2.2 antibody to label mature hemopoietic cells and a variety of cell lines which were neoplastic representatives of progenitor cells (Watt et al., 1983). This antibody was also used to sort CBA bone marrow cells via FACS and the results confirmed the specificity profile acuired in RIA experiments (Watt et al., 1983). Similar, FACS analysis was performed on mouse fetal liver cells as well (Boehm et al., 2014;Watt et al., 1983).Finally, it cao identify leukocytes and is also recommended to enrich for early progenitor cells from mouse fetal liver (which is predominantly populated by erythroid line) (Watt et al., 1983).
