Immunogen
The original antibody was raised by immunizing a mouse with Complement C4d from normal human plasma.
Application Notes
The original version of this antibody was used for flow cytometry on red blood cells from healthy donors and SARS-CoV-2 patients (Lam et al., 2021; PMID：34231390). The original version of this antibody was also used for a western blot on Factor I and C4b-binding protein (Blom et al., 2016; PMID：27146825).

Note on publication
The original paper studies the activity of classical convertases directly in serum/plasma to screen samples from 13 patients with C3 glomerulopathies and identified one patient showing significantly prolonged half-life of these enzymes.
