The specificity of the original format of the antibody was confirmed by ELISA analysis. The antibody detected p22phox by western blot analysis. Further, the antibody immunoprecipitated Cyt b. The antibody showed moderate levels of inhibition of superoxide production by the NADPH oxidase complex (Taylor et al., 2004; PMID: 15585859).
