The original antibody was raised by immunizing Alpaca with human EGFR antigen.
Application Notes
The original antibody was used for an ELISA on EGFR antigen, it showed that its binding was weaker than the standard antibody EGFR-BMK2. The ligand blocking activity of this antibody was determined, it was shown that this antibody does not block the binding of EGF to EGFR. The cytotoxicity of this antibody conjugated to MMAE was determined in vitro, it is shown that the antibody drug conjugate is cytotoxic to different tumor cell lines. This antibody was used in vivo on mouse with xenograft tumors made from NCI-H1975 cells, it was shown to effectively inhibit tumor growth (CN117659203B).
