Ab198 was generated by immunising XenoMouse mice (humanised immune system) with soluble human EpoR.
Application Notes
RIA showed that Ab198 competes with EPO for binding to EPO-R. SPR determined the Kd of Ab198 binding to EPO-R as 13.9 nM. In an EPO dependent human cell proliferation assay Ab198 stimulated proliferation of the F36E cell line. Ab198 also induced proliferation of human erythroid producing cells derived from progenitor cells in a dose-dependent manner. In a cynomolgus bone marrow CFUe assay Ab198 induced the formation of CFU-E colonies.
