This antibody recognises ICAM3 which is a ligand for the leukocyte adhesion protein LFA-1 and integrin alpha-D/beta-2. It also functions as a signaling and costimulatory molecule on T lymphocytes.

Application Notes
This antibody may be used in the identification and characterisation of various leucocytes and lymphatic neoplasms. For example, one group utilised CG106 antibody to immunohistochemically stain a cryostat sample of Hodgkin's disease (Cordell et al., 1994).
