From
Recombinant Antibody

This antibody binds to human Interferon gamma
Alternative Names
IFNG; Interferon gamma; Immune interferon ; IFN-gamma
UniProt
P01579
Immunogen
2D-PAGE gel isolated human IFN gamma from lysate of human melanoma COLO-38 cells.
Application Notes
The antibody binds specifically to IFN gamma, a dimerised soluble cytokine member of the type II class of interferons synthesised by activated T-lymphocytes and natural killer (NK) cells. . IFNγ plays a role in both the innate and adaptive immune responses, and is important in the activation of macrophages, induces the expression of MHC class I molecules, and has antiviral and immunoregulatory activities.
