Immunogen
This antibody was raised by immunising mice with a p28–EBI3 fusion protein linked to ovalbumin polymers covered with glutaraldehyde (OVAglu).
Application Notes
This antibody has been used to detect intracellular IL-27 in flow cytometric analysis (Bosmann et al, 2014), and to detect serum and cell culture supernatant IL-27 in sandwich ELISA analysis (Marillier et al, 2014). This antibody blocks IL-27, and is able to restore IL‐9 and IL‐17A production in the presence of IL‐27 (Uyttenhove et al, 2011). Administration of this antibody blocks graft-versus-host disease upon B6 cell transfer to B6D2 recipient mice (Marillier et al, 2014).
