Specificity
The antibody is specific for INHibin-α. Inhibin is one of the important hormones regulated by the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis system. Inhibin is a member of the TGF-β family, by reducing the transcription of the follicle-stimulating hormone gene and down-regulating the gonadotropin-releasing hormone receptor, it exerts local effects in the form of paracrine and autocrine, and inhibits the basic and receptor of the anterior pituitary gland.
