The original antibody was generated by phage display method. A phage display library was screened against the extracellular domain of human and/or mouse MerTK.
Application Notes
The specificity of the IgG1 format of the antibody was confirmed by ELISA analysis. The antibody bound to cellularly expressed full length human MerTK in a dose responsive manner, with EC50 values in the picomolar to nanomolar range, as determined by FACS. The antibody inhibited Gas6 binding to hMerTK in a dose responsive manner, with an IC50 of 1 nM (WO2019084307A1).
