This antibody is specific for MF1, a fragment spanning amino acids 1 - 562 in the S1 domain of the head region of murine cardiac myosin. This antibody cross-reacts with keratin and GlcNAc-BSA.

This antibody was raised by immunising a BALB/c mouse with cardiac myosin prepared from BALB/c mouse hearts.
Application Notes
The reactivity of this antibody with mouse cardiac myosin and GlcNAc-BSA has been confirmed in ELISA analysis (Malkiel et al, 2000). The affinity of this antibody for myosin is higher than its affinity for GlcNAc-BSA (Malkiel et al, 2000).
