In ELISA experiments F6 reacted strongly with GM1 but no reactivity with GM2 or GM3. The antibody recognises only the N-acetylneuraminic acid deratives of gangliosides; no N-glycolylneuraminic acid derivatives were recognised.

Application Notes
ELISA demonstrated F6 binds strongly to GM1 (Alfonso et al, 1995).
