Specificity
Broader specificity than E1, binding strongly to GM1 and GM2, and showing moderate binding to GM3. The antibody recognises only the N-acetylneuraminic acid deratives of gangliosides; no N- glycolylneuraminic acid derivatives are recognised.

Application Notes
ELISA demonstrated A3 binds strongly to GM1 and GM2, and exhibits moderate binding to GM3 (Alfonso et al, 1995).
