Immunogen
The original antibody was isolated from a VHH library generated by immunization of an alpaca with whole glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) cells.
Application Notes
This antibody was used for identification of NAP1L1 protein in cytosolic and membrane protein fractions of glioblastoma (GBM) tissues using western blotting. It was reported that NAP1L1 was a good marker to distinguish glioma tissues from reference tissues. ELISA was used for the screening of the nanobody library and identification of specific binders that showed specificity for GBM proteins (PMID: 28498803).
