Immunogen
The original antibody was generated by immunizing dromedary with the enzyme and isolating specific binders from the VHH cloned from peripheral blood lymphocytes.
Application Notes
This antibody can be used to detect porcine pancreatic alpha-amylase using and ELISA (PMID: 9649422). The binding of this antibody to alpha-amylase did not inhibit the amylase activity (PMID: 11960990).
