Immunogen
The original antibody was generated using outer membrane protein preparations from Neisseria meningitidis as immunogen.
Application Notes
The specific binding reactivity of this antibody to the P1.2 subtype antigen peptide 'HFVQQTPKSQPTL' was checked using ELISA (PMID: 16470851). This antibody at a dilution of 1:20,000 is capable of binding live cells of Neisseria meningitidis serogroup B in a flow cytometric assay (PMID: 11349041). This antibody was also used in the visualization of P1.2 epitope on the surface of the vesicles by using immunogold labelling (PMID: 8873395).
