Recombinant Antibody
Specificity
This antibody recognises an epitope in the membrane most distal domain (D1) of SIRP alpha. It crossreacts with other SIRPs.
Alternative Names

Immunogen
This antibody was raised by immunisisng BALB/c mice with an eukaryotically expressed SIRPα-Fc fusion protein consisting of the extracellular domain and emulsified with complete Freund’s adjuvant and followed by two subsequent boosts of SIRPα-Fc fusion protein emulsified with IFA (Lee et al., 2007).
Application Notes
SAF10.1, can be used to detect SIRPs in a wide variety of tissues and cell types. For instance, this antibody was successfully used to detect SIRPs from COS7.2 cell lysates via Western blot (Lee et al., 2008).
