Cat. No.
MABL-3027
Application
WB, ELISA, IHC
Isotype
Engineer antibody
Species Reactivity
Human
Clone No.
32D5
From
Recombinant Antibody
Specificity
The antibody is specific for TdT. TdT catalyzes the random addition of deoxynucleoside 5'- triphosphate to the 3'-end of a DNA initiator. One of the in vivo functions of this enzyme is the addition of nucleotides at the junction (N region) of rearranged Ig heavy chain and T-cell receptor gene segments during the maturation of B- and T-cells.
Alternative Names
TdT; DNA nucleotidylexotransferase; Terminal addition enzyme; Terminal deoxynucleotidyltransferase; Terminal transferase; CGMCC NO 20777
UniProt
P04053
Immunogen
The original antibody was generated by immunizing mice with the recombinant TdT protein.
Application Notes
The antibody specifically detected TDT protein in Western blot analysis. The antibody 32D5 and the commercial antibody SEN28 were used to stain lymphoma and thymus. Results showed the antibody specificity is comparable to the commercial antibody. Further, the sensitivity of the antibody 32D5 was higher than the commercial antibody. The antibody and the commercially available antibody TA347 were simultaneously detected on the normal tissue chip, indicating that the specificity of the antibody in normal tissue was equivalent to that of the commercially available antibody (CN113265003A).
