This antibody is specific for both the short and the long version of Kirrel3. The antibody does not cross react with Kirrel1 or Kirrel2. Kirrel3 is a synaptic adhesion molecule required for the formation of target-specific synapses.

This antibody was raised by immunising BALB/c mice with a fusion protein amino acids 46- 524 (extracellular N-terminus) of rat Kirrel3.
Application Notes
The IgG2b version of this antibody was used in a immunohistochemical experiment on axons from the olfactory bulb of mice (Vaddadi et al, 2019; PMID:31142543).
