Specificity | The antibody is specific for VEEV. The antibody detects the subtype I strains TC83, TRD, 3880, P676, subtype III strain Mucambo, and subtype V strain Cabassou. The antibody does not cross-react with BHK21, EEE (Eastern equine encephalitis), WEE (Western equine encephalitis), and SLE (St. Louis encephalitis). |
