Specificity
This antibody binds human AMH. AMH is a glycoprotein, produced by the Sertoli cells of the testis, causes regression of the muellerian duct. It is also able to inhibit the growth of tumors derived from tissues of Muellerian duct origin.

The original antibody was generated by immunizing balb/c mice with recombinant mullerian hormone (AMH) protein.
Application Notes
The binding characterization of this antibody for recombinant AMH was done using ELISA. This antibody was used as a capture antibody in combination with another anti-AMH antibody AMH-2 as labelling antibody for a double antibody sandwich ELISA (CN110407937).
