MABL-843
Application
inhibition, WB, ELISA
Isotype
Engineer antibody
Species Reactivity
Human
Clone No.
ZHB-2cF9
From
Recombinant Antibody
Specificity
The antibody is specific for the extracellular domain of CD26. CD26 is a cell surface glycoprotein receptor involved in the costimulatory signal essential for T-cell receptor (TCR)-mediated T-cell activation.
Alternative Names
TP103; ADABP; ADCP-2; Dipeptidyl peptidase 4; EC:3.4.14.5; Adenosine deaminase complexing protein 2; Dipeptidyl peptidase IV; DPP IV; T-cell activation antigen CD26
UniProt
P27487
Immunogen
The original antibody was obtained from a human single-chain antibody phage display library by solid-phase affinity screening of CD26 extracellular region protein.
Application Notes
The specificity of the antibody was confirmed by ELISA analysis. The original format of the antibody could specifically bind to the CD26 extracellular domain protein. The antibody could detect CD26 expressed on the surface of human mesothelioma cells NCI-H2452 by immunofluorescence analysis. The antibody was able to inhibit the binding of human mesothelioma cell NCI-H2452 expressing CD26 to ECM. Further, the antibody could inhibit the proliferation of mesothelioma cells and colon cancer cells with high expression of CD26 (WO2015089881A1).
