This antibody was raised by immunizing BALB/c mice with a fusion protein consisting of human CD6 and rat CD4 domains 3 and 4 (CD6d3CD4d3 + 4) (corrected, see: (Hassan et al., 2019; pmid: 30890626)).
Application Notes
This antibody blocks CD6/CD166 interactions; crossreacts well and less well on soluble recombinant rat and mouse CD6 respectively (Santos et al., 2019; pmid: 31162836).
