The original antibody was generated by hyperimmunizing mice with UV irradiated polydeoxynucleotides.
Application Notes
This antibody is recommended for detection of DNA damage caused by UV irradiation. This antibody is also known as αUVssDNA-1. Recombinant C3B6 scFv binds UV-poly(dT) in an ELISA with no evidence of cross-reactivity with unirradiated polythymidylic acid [poly(dT)](PMID: 10710441).
