NAME | Recombinant Anti-NgR2 antibody |
Isotype and Format | Mouse IgG1, Kappa |
Clone Number | P14 |
Alternative Name(s) of Target | Nogo-66 Receptor |
UniProt Accession Number of Target Protein | Q86UN3 |
Published Application(s) | IP, WB, ELISA, FC, IF |
Published Species Reactivity | Rat, Human, Mouse |
Immunogen | (His)6-tagged fragment of rat NgR2 (amino acids 279-420). |
Specificity | The antibody binds to human NgR2 with a Kd of 2.3 nM and to rat NgR2 with a Kd of 0.48 nM (bivalent binding). The antibody binds specifically to residues 351-399 of NgR2, a member of the Nogo-66 receptor family which inhibits axonal growth and sporulating in the CNS. |
Application Notes | The original antibody was used for for an ELISA on the NgR2 antigen to confirm the binding of the antibody. This antibody was used for a western blot on lysates of 293F cells transfected with vectors for mammalian cell expression of human NgR1, NgR2, and NgR3. This antibody was used for flow cytometry on 293F cells transfected with human NgR1, NgR2, and NgR3 mammalian cell expression vectors. This antibody was used for surface plasmon resonance on NgR1 and NgR2 to determine its binding affinity for its antigen. The antibody was used for immunofluorescence on PC12 cells and PC12-NgR1 or PC12-NgR2. This antibody was used for immunoprecipitation on rat PC12 cell lines stably expressing full- length rat NgR1 or NgR2 (Hofer et al., 2008; PMID:17140598). |
